Kent Gardens will again compete in the Virginia Science Olympiad (VASO). Kick off meeting to be announced.

Divisions B and C are VASO’s flagship programs. VASO holds regional qualifying tournaments open to all registered teams in Virginia. The State Tournament, held after all of the regionals have been completed, is open to the highest scoring teams at the regional tournaments. The State winners in each division are then invited to the national tournament in May. Division B is middle school level. Kent Gardens participates at the middle school level.

Kent Gardens will attend one of these tournaments:
Langley HS, February 13
Centreville HS, February 20
University of Mary Washington, February 27

Kent Gardens will again compete in the Virginia Science Olympiad (VASO). Kick off meeting to be announced.

Parent Coordinator: We need at least 2 Parent Coordinators who schedule bi-monthly event progress meetings and provide information on the rules, date, logistics for the eventual regional tournament that takes place in February.

Parent Mentor: Each event has a parent who mentors each student pair of participants.
