There’s a place for everyone in the #KGPride!

Whether you have an hour to help at an event, can lend a hand from home, or are interested in taking on a larger role, we’d love to have you involved.

Volunteering with the PTA is a great way to meet other KG families, support our teachers and staff, and help make the programs and events our students love possible.

Ways to Get Involved

Help at an Event

Keep an eye out on the KG PTA Weekly for volunteer opportunities throughout the year! Volunteer for events throughout the year, including:

  • Book Fairs
  • International Night
  • Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week
  • Spring Fun Run & Carnival
  • Family Dinner Nights
  • French Fête
  • 6th Grade Farewell
  • Help Behind the Scenes

Not every volunteer job happens at an event! We also need help with things like:

  • Lost & Found
  • School grounds and garden projects
  • Library projects
  • Organizing and setup
  • Donations and supplies
  • Creative projects
  • Other flexible, at-home opportunities
  • Chair or Lead a Program

Ready to take on a little more?

Our PTA relies on parent volunteers to lead many of our events and programs. Some roles are perfect for first-time chairs, while larger events can be led by a team or co-chairs.
